Meet The Builder

Bruce Tanninen is the inspiration and drive behind Tanninen Homes. He’s been designing and building houses in the Pacific Northwest for more than 25 years; providing inspiration and creating stunning homes for hundreds of families throughout the region.

Bruce’s concept is simple—stylish homes that blend elements of classic and modern design and hold their quality and appeal for years to come.

A lifelong Washingtonian, Bruce graduated from Washington State University in 1989 with a degree in Construction Management. In 1992, he built his first house in Vancouver, Washington, and quickly grew a thriving company.

He later relocated his family and business to Kennewick, Washington, just as the Tri-Cities community was booming.  Bruce's style of innovative, open floor plans helped pave the way for the standard for home construction in the region from the early 2000s on.

Bruce is on the job site daily, overseeing construction to make sure the job stays on track and on budget. He is in constant communication with the homeowner, providing progress updates, answering questions, and seeking input.
